About The College Arms
Since re-opening in 2012, we have established ourselves as a quality local gastro pub in the heart of the Hertford Heath providing for the village.
Formerly the Jolly Pindar, and prior to that, the East India College Arms (with links to the then East India Company College, now Haileybury College), we are situated at the north end of London Road in Hertford Heath. Backing onto woodland makes it an ideal 'halfway house' on a Sunday walk and a quiet location for lunch or dinner.
Our a la carte menu is changed seasonally and sits perfectly next to specials on our blackboards. Our Sunday Roasts are going down a treat with a choice of Sirloin of Beef, British Corn-fed Chicken with Pigs in Blankets and Stuffing, Dingley Dell Slow Roasted Pork Belly with Crackling, Vegetarian Wellington with White Wine and Cream Sauce, all served with roast potatoes, Honey & Cumin Chantenay Carrots, Seasonal Greens, Yorkshire Pudding & Gravy. It’s become a big favorite with our Sunday regulars. We have a varied selection of wines, most by the glass, well-kept real ales, comfy leather armchairs and we're dog friendly so it's no wonder that we've become a firm favorite within the village community and beyond.
